WHY UNITED NIGHTS?

Honouring what came before. Making room for what comes next.

When people look back on seasons of revival, they often remember the songs.

The melodies.

The sound.

The rooms.

The moments that somehow became bigger than anyone expected.

But the more we've thought about UNITED, the more one thing keeps coming back to us.

Maybe the most important thing wasn't the sound.

Maybe it was the hunger.

Before there were songs people would sing around the world, there were young people gathering to seek God.

Prayer meetings.

Loud, passionate praise.

Intimate moments of worship.

Hands raised.

Hearts abandoned.

People hungry for the tangible presence of God.

The music mattered.

But the music wasn't the starting point.

Hunger was.

And maybe that's the part worth carrying forward.

NOT LOOKING BACK.
MOVING FORWARD.

That's why UNITED Nights isn't about trying to recreate yesterday.

We're not interested in rebuilding another era.

You couldn't anyway.

The world has changed.

Music has changed.

People have changed.

And a new generation is here.

We honour what God has done before.

We honour the songs, the people, the friendships and the moments that shaped us.

But honouring the past doesn't mean living in it.

History should be honoured, not replicated.

Jesus spoke about new wine needing new wineskins.

Maybe there's wisdom in that for this season too.

Don't try to squeeze something new into an old shape.

Make room.

And ask a better question:

God, what do You want to do right now?

MAKE ROOM

That's really the vision behind UNITED Nights.

To create spaces where people can gather around Jesus again.

Worshippers.

Songwriters.

Musicians.

Creatives.

Pastors.

Old friends.

New voices.

Different churches and different generations.

Not gathering simply to watch something happen on a stage.

But to participate.

To sing.

To pray.

To create.

To encounter God.

To leave enough room for moments we didn't plan.

Not just performing worship.

Worshipping.

We want beautiful music.

We want creativity.

We want excellence.

We want to write songs we've never heard before.

But more than any of that, we want the presence of God.

Music can move people.

Only Jesus can transform them.

A NEW SOUND

So what will UNITED Nights sound like?

Honestly, we don't completely know yet.

And that's exciting.

There are new songs being written.

New collaborations beginning.

Conversations beginning with, “What if…?”

People we've known for years may stand alongside people we've only just met.

And hopefully there will be voices who aren't even on our radar yet.

Because if this is really a new chapter, it needs room for a new generation to write some of it.

Their songs.

Their stories.

Their sound.

Not an imitation of what came before.

Something honest.

Something alive.

Something born from what God is doing now.

One heart.

One voice.

One sound.

But a new sound.

WHY NOW?

Because every generation needs more than stories about somebody else's encounter with God.

Stories matter.

Legacy matters.

But eventually, you have to encounter Him for yourself.

You can inherit songs.

You can inherit wisdom.

You can inherit stories of revival.

But you can't live forever on somebody else's hunger.

A new generation has to become hungry.

A new generation has to pray.

A new generation has to write.

A new generation has to lift its voice.

A new generation has to discover what happens when Jesus becomes more than something they sing about.

What if we could make room for some of that?

What if people came together with no need to recreate anything — only a desire to seek God?

What if new friendships formed?

New songs emerged?

People found freedom?

Chains fell?

Faith came alive?

What if the Holy Spirit breathed on something none of us could have planned?

That's the possibility that excites us.

A NEW BEGINNING

In 2027, UNITED Nights begins as a new and independent chapter.

We don't have every detail mapped out.

We don't want to.

There is something beautiful about leaving room for surprise.

What we do know is simple.

We want to gather people.

We want to write new songs.

We want to create boldly.

We want to make room for new voices.

We want to worship Jesus.

And we want to stay hungry for the presence of God.

We're not trying to bring yesterday back.

We're carrying the hunger forward.

New wine.

A new sound.

A new generation.

The same Jesus.

And room for whatever God wants to do next.

The journey is just beginning.
